I understand your point about the game interface being what will bring in the new customers. But some of these issues that Brian raises with outfield defense and passed balls are pretty annoying. If the game isn't going to adequately punish someone for using Matt Stairs in CF then we might as well all do it. We hear things like "severe penalty" for playing unrated players at SS and CF but at times it is difficult to see what the severe penalty really is.

Perhaps I need to be enlightened.
