Although we have found the game to be unstable in certain situations described in the POLICY statement---specifically GUARD DOG and similar programs resident in RAM---and low resources---we have never been able to crash the game under normal conditions.

Many of us at PB play the game and I have played more than anyone except perhaps Tim Shine---and I have never crashed the game (using 3 different computers) except when I have deliberatly tried to crash by play-testing in exteremely low resource situations.

Since we released the new game which does not restart from RSIBB unless the game is complete---we have had a slight increase in crashes, but we still have less than 10 out of 2000+ games scheduled.

It is obvious that SOME systems are set in such a way that they can be victims of crashes and still other machines simply crash routinely---this is a problem we have to deal with individually so that we can help everyone avoid crashes and still maintain the integrity of the game results.
