Well... I can explaing your pitching woes....
With the exception of Smoltz.... the others are lefthanders.
Never draft or trade for a left hander in PB unless it is the Big Unit.
Lefties are mercilessly HAMMERED in PB.
Some advice given to me by a few PB veterans before I started playing the game. On that advice I released all lefties from my team, and I don't miss em!
