Some things are easier to swallow than others
I can understand the win-loss thing. Sometimes if players go into a slump at times a team with good talent can lose more than its fair share of games.
But the fact that Brian Giles is hitting .203 with an OBP of .306 and SLG% of .370 after 50 games (222 PA) is tough to swallow. I've got plenty more examples but this one is the most extreme.
