Torched RP's
Well, you're 25 games into LL19 and 5 games into Trad 1. You are operating on VERY small samples here. In fact, a FULL season is a very small sample, just like in real life.
To the best of my knowledge (I think I've seen this question here before), there's no penalty for putting non-closers into save situations.
I don't know how the grade and clutch are determined, but they do seem to track weight-adjusted OPS. Grade and clutch are not DETERMINANTS of performance, they're indicators.
I find it interesting that pitchers have a clutch grade (indicating better or worse performance with runners on base), but batters don't. It also seems to me that there are way more pitchers who have clutch grades >5 (indicating better performance than their grade with runners on), but most stats suggest that most batters are better with runners on (pitchers pitching from stretch, more infield holes, less "nibbling", etc.)
