Well, here's another complaint, sorry, but I must register this one.
I know everyone keeps saying this game is not random, yada, yada, yada. I keep hoping that's true, but it just gets harder and harder to believe when I see what keeps happening to me and others.
It is becoming very frustrating to pay so much for a game that has so much potential yet fails time after time.
Case in point:
I'm playing a team in a current series that must have thrown in the towel cuz there are huge holes in his lineup.
Game one, Frank Thomas is catching. Yes, that Thomas. The Thomas who DHs cuz he has no remaining defense skills.
Well, guess what? He throws out speedy Eric Owens trying to steal second in the ninth of a close ball game. I'm sorry, but that's crap and RANDOM cuz there is no way in hell that really happens. I end up losing the game.
Game two: His catcher is Brian Daubach. What happens this time? Daubach throws out Chris Singleton stealing second, another guy who is rated with above average speed and jump.
Unbelievable.
Something has to be done.
I am so frickin' frustrated with this "game" and yes I know it's a game.
If it was FREE, I wouldn't care as much, but this is costing us all $$ and should at least have a bit more realism.
There are far too many problems. I won't even start with what the robot did to me in a series with the team I'm chasing for first in my league.
