Did not play - but can DH?

Posted By DaveF

After I acquired Blake Stein who was a "did not play" yet pitcher, I apparently had him move to my ACTIVE roster. Since he doesn't show up in the list of ACTIVE players but at the bottom of the screen under "did not play in 2000" and since under the TEAM lineup page it showed 25 active players - and since I'm too stupid/lazy to actually count my active players - I overlooked the fact he was ACTIVE.

What is surprising to me is that as I was playing my game and went to pinch hit, who is sitting on my bench as DH but "BLAKE STEIN" !!

I immediately put him in the lineup just to see if I could actually use him. He grounded out to 2B (and shows OPS of 0.00).

I realize the guy is essentially useless with 0% chance of hitting, but still...is he supposed to be available for me if he didn't play? and a pitcher as a DH?

At least he can take up PA's during blowout games and save my real DH.
