I have seen this kind of thing on a few occasions as well. I would love to hear how the game engine treats this situation (does only the road team get the benefit or does it also help the home team?) so that I know how to deal with it in my own games.

I seem to remember something in the APBA for Windows game that once a pitcher allows a baserunner after he has faced all of his "workable batters" (that is the term used in APBA) that his grade goes down. I am wondering if that is what goes on here.

i.e. maybe Foulke gets his superior grade and clutch rating until he has a negative BFA and gives up a baserunner.

In any case I would like to hear an explanation from the commish on what is going on.
