I would like to know exactly how the ROBOT chooses relief pitchers. Based on previous communications I assumed that the ROBOT would use

Short Reliever: In late (8-9?) innings with a lead

Middle Reliever: In middle (6-7?) innings or in late innings when behind. Also in situations where a short reliever is unavailable.

Long Relievers: In early innings when starter is shelled or when middle reliever is not available in middle relief situation.

HOWEVER a couple times in recent weeks the ROBOT has used one of my good relievers that was a SHORT RELIEVER in the 6th inning of a game when middle or long relievers were available.

Obviously the algorithm I thought was in use is not correct so I would like to know what the algorithm is.
