This may have been addressed before but here goes:

There is one element more so than anything else that I have seen which determines success or failure; the ability to get the 2-out rbi base hit. This year I have one team that consistently gets them and they are playing well. I have another team which never seems to get the two-out hit and suffice to say, they are not playing well. This was even more apparent to me last year when I had a team that I should have played better than it did. (David Justice, PB underachiever; I just had to get that out of my system )

What all of this is leading to is asking the question if there is a hidden hitter clutch rating or is it all based on the pitcher?

I have seen my 6+ clutch guys lit up and watched 4- guys shut me down.

Am I on to something?
