I also have experience the big run 1st inning. I have about 6 teams and one weekend 5 out the 6 teams were at home. I decided to play all 5 series about 25 games. The one thing that kept standing out was that I was always down 3-0 after 1. I could not get the lead off hitter out. After the week was over I did go back and attempt to check if all teams were having a similar problem, but I couldn't tell which teams actually played the games vs who let the robots manage.

Maybe it is sour grapes but I'm also sour about that.
