The starter I had selected for this game was Vasquez. He had pitched the fourth game of the previous series and had gone 8.3 innings. I cannot tell you what his BFA was going into this game but I cannot believe it was below 30. My manager options were correctly set with Lowe designated as closer and Vasquez in the rotation. If Vasquez was below 30 I can see why Lowe was chosen to start based on the program logic since Pichardo had pitched in game 2 and he would have been the first choice before Lowe. Is there any way to discover what Vasquez's BFA was before game four of the series with LA? The other question I have is why would the computer allow Lowe to face 36 batters and give up that many hits and runs (17/15) without relieving him?
