My father had this same issue, and since he told me, I checked this week, and I seem to have the same problem.
I set my "Manager Options" with a pinch hitting choice of the 4th "notch", mostly aggressive. However, when I go to the schedule page and try to set up a game, that PH setting has mysteriously changed to the 2nd "notch", mostly conservative. It doesn't matter if I try to reset it, if I go back and check after I try, it has reset to the conservative point again.
Anyone else setting an away lineup should double-check this - My dad & I have had this occur using different PC's, and we've each done the "erase the cache & history" routine, with no effect.
His last series only pinch-hit one time in 5 games, so it seems that his options didn't "take".
If anyone else notices this problem, please chip in so we can tell if it's just us, or if there is something more "sinister" going on with the ROBOT.
