Usage stays with the player...
A players usage never "resets".
The only way I've seen to check on a Free Agent's usage is to go to your draft page and choose to "Edit Your Monthly Free Agent Draft List".
When you click on the link to a players name, his abbreviated stats will come up in the bottom frame. At the top right-hand corner of the frame you'll see (in red):
FantPA/RealPA:0/202
or
FantIP/RealIP:0/57.1
This tells you how many PA/IP's in fantasy and how many in MLB....
If anyone knows of another way, so that we don't necessarily need to wait for draft week, I'd be interested to know....
