I agree, they are the Buffalo Bills of MLB.

However, this season, they did not "bow out" to St. Louis. The Cardinals were the superior team and Maddux/Glavine had no chance one the Cards drew blood. They weren't favored to win that 1st round series, so it wasn't really a choke. I thought it might go longer, but I think most people thought the Cards would win that series.
