Well the Bills were (deservedly) underdogs in 3 of their losses. They are still considered losers among anyone not a Bills fan. The fact that the Braves managed to win 1 Series is the biggest reason they are not considered losers. Also, the Braves rep is saved by the fact that they did not lose all those playoffs in the Series. Just as it is less humiliating to lose in a football wildcard game so it is in baseball. Don't ask me why but the 2nd place teams in sports tend to ridiculed while the 3rd, 4th, 5th... place teams are just forgotten. In the year the Oilers had that record-setting choke in the playoffs vs the Bills which team was considered the loser at season's end? The Bills. Such is the strange and twisted way sports fans think.

Oh yeah and I'm a diehard Bills fan who thanks God he was a Bills fan from 90-94 instead of a Raiders, Dolphins, Bengals, Bears, etc fan. It was a great time to be a fan. Losing the last game doesn't negate the thrill of witnessing a great team.
