In evaluating a player one might trade for, how much (if any) consideration should I give to this season's PB performance? Several of the players I'm considering making offers for are performing considerably below expecations (like, 50 points batting ave, 2 full earned runs).

Conversely, should I consider trading a (real-life) .300 hitter who's hitting .220 in PB for a real-life .250 hitter who's hitting .310 in PB?

DO players "turn it around" in PB? I haven't played a full RT or Trad season before this year and am halfway or so through several.
