In my first Launch League, as I was still learning the game, I had the unfortunate circumstance of a shortage of infielders that had become overused, thus I was forced to put a Jorge Posada at second base. Needless to say, Jorge's inexperience at second led to a number of errors, the most common being him dropping the ball on a routine fly. My point is this, you are ok defensively as long as you don't use players out of position too often, because although the game is a bit forgiving on defense, abuse it and you will get burned.
