My problem is this:

Pudge is injured 3 games, and I play a division rival on the road. I want him to start the last 2 games. I just got him, so he's not in my defaults yet, and of course the game won't allow me to set him in the default OR the lineups for games 4-5. I assume if I set lineups with another catcher they'll be used. Also setting incomplete defaults can cause problems or so I understand. How would you PB geniuses handle this one?
