Can I calculate when a pitcher will no longer be overused ?

Posted By RamBeast

I'm trying to set up my rotation & lineups for this week, but I can't determine if/when Frank Castillo might become available again. He's on my opponennts active roster, and if I can plan for when he might start, I can set up a better lineup against him or whomever might start in his place.

If anyone knows how to figure it out, I'd appreciate the info.

MLB IP = 138
138 * 1.15 = 158.7 Innings available in PB
PB IP = 128.3
Use is listed at 126 % - "overused"
We have played 120 games so far.

I understand the "sliding scale" from 150% to 115% over the last 80% of the season, but I have also noticed that how the system determines "overuse" varies with respect to players roles and such (i.e. a short reliever can be at 138% and available, while an SP is at 126% and overused).
I have yet to be able to figure that calculation out, so I can't tell if Castillo will become available over the next 5 games.

Anyone know ?
