Pinch Hitting setting not staying

Posted By Jon

I've had this same issue for over a year now and it has been discussed on the message board w/o finding a real solution.

The problem I'm having is this:

I have the PH setting for all 3 of my teams defaulted to FAR RIGHT (or maximum PH use). When I click on the schedule page to set away lineups and my default manager options pop up, everything is okay....the setting is where I intend it to be...FAR RIGHT. I do my normal vs LHP/vs RHP lineups for each of the 5 games and move on to the next team. Here comes the problem.......

Occasionally, I need to go back and redo a lineup or my rotation for one reason or another (traded a player away in one of my lineups, decided to bench someone, just a general need to change something w/o any roster modification). Whenever I go back to the schedule page and click one of the games, the default manager options again pop up and show the exact settings that I had entered....EXCEPT the PH setting has been significantly altered. Each time it shows it at FAR LEFT (or very conservative pinchhitting). It never fails, and I can repeat this bug over and over on any one of my 3 computers and for any of my 3 teams. I of course change it back to the far right before moving onto to resetting my away lineup, but I've often wondered if the robot is really being agressive in PinchHitting like I want him to. I haven't studied the stats on that with my teams, but most of them have platoon situations and that where the substitutions are occuring (when they do).

Can someone else test this for me and leave some feedback here on this thread? Adjust your default away manager settings first, with PH on the far right (you can always go back to what you were using before). Then enter your 5 away lineups using the most aggressive PH setting. When you are finished, return to the game 1 link and look at the PH setting now. Where is it? Did it change at all?
