what it does is make a unrealistic farce of the
game. i think we all want accurate results and
not turn this game into a arcade version of baseball.
if the owner is short of at bats at any position. he should either make a trade if he wants a
valuable player to play the position. or he can release a bum and add a innocuous player.
this is provided by the rules to provide fair
play and results. leave the decision to the
commissioner.
