I have Sweeney in one league (PB99 T2) and used him behind the plate for 2 straight years (98/99). His defense and ability to throw out runners was among the best in the league. Check his player card, you'll see that he is rated as a catcher still in 1999. However, he is not a catcher in 2000, so you would have a point next year....but not now.
