Not the same at all
When the Cardinals pitched Worrell they were taking a huge gamble. He was young and untested with a great arm , they had no idea if he'd come through. When you pitch a Pote or Mecir KNOWING FOR CERTAIN what their rating is you are not taking any risk at all. Playing a sim changes the entire nature of this risk.
Jon, I'm not condemning you or anyone else who used this type of player in the playoffs, I'm simply asking if anyone else thinks we should change the limits so that seldom used pitchers don't loom as large as a Randy Johnson or Trevor Hoffman come crunch time. THAT is not realistic.
