I don't agree...in the playoffs, one pitcher pitching 1 game can decide the whole series....Juan Pena...did he lose a game in any league? A few more innings and he'd have been my deciding game pitcher in a heartbeat. In my playoffs I faces quite a few 21 IP relievers and 30 IP starters. They pitched only a couple of games, but much better than *Charles Nagy* for instance. Yes you need a team, but a couple 1 game wonders can decide a close series without question.
