One that follows the majors with a slight margin of error....

What I would like to see is a SIM where the greatest margin of error is near 10%. That means a .270 hitter will hit at worst near .260, and at best near .280. I think that is a fair range to expect from a play if I draft/trade for him.

I don't want players to perform exactly (ie season replay) but they must perform somewhere CLOSE to their major league stats.

My reasoning? If players do not "act" like the real major league players, then we can throw strategy in trading/drafting out the window. Everything becomes a crap shoot. I don't want a crap shoot. I want to look at Alex Rodriguez and KNOW that IF I trade half my team for him i KNOW I will be getting the REAL Alex Rodriguez... and not just some "Pure Baseball Sim" version who will hit .220 for me (at which point everyone will start to point out small sample sizes... :p).

This has been my main argument all along. If players do not perform closely to their real stats, then how can you trade/draft with confidence?

my 2 cents :)
