The period of time between the end of the playoffs and the beginning of the next draft cycle can be a very quiet one for PB baseball. It can also be a very frustrating one for PB owners who would like to improve their teams, trade or do something PB-related during this time. As posts in this forum have stated it's often tough to get trades done or inquiries even answered now.

What can we do to liven this time up ? I've seen a suggestion on the F18 board to shift the PB calendar by drafting in Feb & starting the season in early March. This would end the season before the Holiday season. That's an interesting idea.

Does anyone else have ideas to add some life to our hobby during this time ? It seems like half the owners go into hibernation and the other half get bored and frustrated and wind up sending trade offers of Jay Witasick for Carlos Beltran. Help !!!
