Sure. I'm saying that I'll take Edmonds every single time.

But if someone is sitting there with Jim Edmonds, Ken Griffey, and Andruw Jones in CF and their first baseman is someone really worthless like Mike Stanley you might be able to convince the commishioner to approve the trade if noone else in your league will trade a 1B.

But frankly if I was in that situation I would play Edmonds at 1B even if he was unrated and made a million errors -- rather than give him up for an inferior player.
