One of the appeals of PB is that the games go quickly and realistically without too much micro-management. If you start adding this kind of stuff, you take away from the ease and accessibility of the game except for the most ardent players. Remember, there are many of us PB players who have other lives and don't want to have to get involved in even more subtleties (of which there are quite enough).
