To say that collusion never happens would be false but to say that it happens with any regularity is pretty far-fetched.
It takes two to tango and we are talking about some pretty sick behavior here. There are no prizes offered in these leagues...
If anyone has a specific charge to make, I am all ears and will look into it---but the discussion board is hardly the place to get something done.

No one has emailed me about any specific collusion charge---and as most of you know---I am pretty good at responding to email.

As to community in mail leagues, there are some that offer a long history of competition, but most have trouble surviving. There are many problems inherent in mail leagues which I won't go itno right now but I played in them from 1975 to 1989 and got into the on-line baseball league business to create an environmnet whre those problems were limited.

We want very much to increase the community feel in PB leagues but its up to you guys to make it happen before we add the improvements that we all want. Posting new team page news and trade forum ideas is a good way to meet your fellow managers. The more we interact, the more fun it is.
