I knew he would go first in many, if not all, the drafts, but I still wonder if he warrants it.

As for doing my homework... I suspect he'll break down and return to his average self, that is all. He suffered tendinitis last year forcing him out of the rotation. Even the Milwaulkee Brewer's wouldn't sign him past a year! I see D'Amico as being an average major league pitcher, nothing more.

If he was really this amazing talent... really this incredible pitcher... wouldn't you think Milwaulkee would have signed him to a 3 or 4 year deal? And yet the only signed him to a one year deal this December... I think I know what the Brewer's brass is thinking...

As for being at the bottom of the lake... after cutting Tino Martinez, Dave Martinez, and Eddie Taubensee I'm sure the fans in Port Huron are already considering that...
