Wood I or Woodn't I?
Heh... and little word play there...
Despite Kerry's offseason shoulder work two seasons ago, I think straight up Kerry Wood is a far better pitcher than D'Amico. Kerry's biggest problem is his control... he walks too many. He's lucky that he restricts batters to a measly .210 batting average otherwise those walks would definately haunt him.
It's a little scarey that Kerry lost so much in terms of strike outs after the injury (although, almost 9 per game is still amazing). Still, Kerry's stats have been consistent throughout his career whereas Jeff has had only one decent season. Everyone is capable of a career year.
So in answer - I would take Kerry Wood. Wouldn't even hesititate.
