I was careful not to use the "C" word in my previous posts in part out of fairness and in part not really convinced that was the answer.It really could have been a case of inexperienced and/or uncommitted owners.
I had thought the most important point in the previous threads was the 11 trades (involving 112 players) with 2 teams and only 1 trade in 2 years (4 players)with any other team. The AVERAGE of 10+ players PER TRADE is so statistically out of line...
So with this offer we have more of an idea what MIGHT have happened in the past?
Anyway-I agree with other posts that the main focus of FORUM should be to exchange ideas, information; establish connections and possibly friendships; build a community etc, etc.
In that vein, why don't you email Arizona and, in so may words, ask him to explain from his point of view how this proposed deal will help your team. I think we can all see how the deal would help his- except the Aurilia part. Why does he want Aurilia when he just got Furcal and still has Gutierrez? Ask him that too. Perhaps the response would provide more insight...
