First off, welcome to the league. I think that you made the right choice in turning down that trade, simply because of what it does to you at SS. I for one, was not truely aware of this problem until I starting reading the boards and then looked back at the trade activity. With two other teams, and this team having its challenges, I didn't spend as much time on this team as I should have.
When you have these types of activities occuring, it really does change the spirit of the game and makes it less fun. I for one, have had few dealings with this owner and have always laughed at his offers to me, even though I do have one of the worst teams ;)
I think what ticks me off the most is the shanigans that owner pulled in regards to the rookie draft; I for one really could have used Furcal :)
