Is there any association between a player's real-life stats and the way they perform in PB games?

I was all excited about Wade Miller's start for the Astros. He's 6-1 with a 2.97 era while pitching in a hitter's ballpark. He's only allowed 48 hits and 21 walks in 63.2 innings while striking out 61. Opposing batters are hitting .223 with an OPS of only .653
He's been absolutely fantastic!!

For my Atlanta TeeHawks he's 0-3 with an 11.40 era!!! He's allowed 23 hits and 10 walks in only 15 innings. Opposing batters are batting .343 with an OPS of 1130!!!!!!!!!!

What gives????
