I have had guys occasionally slump, but they always come around. I don't know what league you are talking about, but he may have faced very strong lineups (with nasty early-season platoon types) as well as having bas luck. Pedro Martinez had a bad start in my league last year but was immense down the stretch for me. In another league I was in, he was dominant from the start.

I wouldn't dump him!
