The stats for the following year are based on real life stats. I don't get how to base ratings on PB performance, or why anyone would want to. The whole idea is to have players which mirror real life, and manage them. Actually, I don't have a clue why anyone still plays traditional, either. I have found real time to be much more like running a live team.
