How many of you shy away from lefty starters, and do you look for a certain type lefty? Experienced players here know that lefties can be hurt by platoons, especially early season platoons, but to what extent do you experienced guys avoid them?

Obviously R. Johnson gets drafted high, and I had some success with Chen last year (real time, this years TRAD ratings) and Parque sucked, but I would love some more comments. CONSTRUCTIVE comments.

Do you find better success with LHPs who get righties out? Is the effect worse early season? I am talking REAL TIME here, although TRAD comments are welcome too, just say which you play.
