No kidding

Yes, they are pitching in a pitchers park in your league.....but are all of your 35 players playing in their exact MLB parks? What about your opposing lineup? Does his team have 35 players that are playing in the same lineup that they compiled their MLB stats in? Of course not.

As for statistical imperfection, do you think that you are alone? Hell no. Every owner in this PB world has at least one player on each team that is not performing near his expectation. Heck, I have Troy Glaus, in a Trad league, hitting .179. Am I bitching publicly about it? No, because I know the game and it's imperfect. If I whined publicly about it, posting in all caps and slinging insults to anyone that had a suggestion from Glaus' failure, I might drive away a new member that was thinking of getting into a perpertual league....which is bad for all of us. This game will not survive, and it sure won't get better, unless we get some fresh blood in here.

You guys discredit the "company line" of small sample size, but do you really think that 19 innings are a representative sample? I have Armando Benitez as my closer in one league, a 9.0/7.2 pitcher. Guess what? Through 40 games this season, he's pitched 10.7 innings (a larger representative sample than your Jimmy Anderson example) and Armando has an ERA of 11.81.

Boo who. You aren't unique. It happens to everyone. Next subject.

It's real simple. If you don't like the game, then quit. Noone is forcing you to play this game.
