I flipped my quarter 100 times and it came up heads 63 times, I think it must be broke because it should have only come up heads 50 times....

We all know I'm just kidding, but being an engineer, having been around numbers all my life, and winning 3 world series last year (I'm bragging now) gives me a bit of insight into the stats of players.

If players ended up with the exact stats that they have in real life, I could predict who would win every division. Heck, I can usually predict 75% anyways. You are going to have a couple players do better, a couple worse, and the balance close to actual.

Pitchers will always have an ERA 10-15% higher than in real life, relievers do better than starters, stats will be more accurate when we have 24 teams than 20 teams.

I do wish we had someway to see the stats of a player in all 30+ leagues averaged out thus giving us a good insight on exactly how he is doing.

What happens alot of times is a pitcher with a wide OPS differential pitches against 3 straight teams that have the platoon advantage. Until you face every team in the league the stats will be off slightly.
