It's been my contention for the last few years that the PB game is set up to give the visitors an edge. In the old CSN the home field advantage was huge and I think that when PB was set up it was done with an eye towards nullifying the advantage of human manger over the robot.
My opponents in home games steal bases in the first inning at an alarming rate. They hit MUCH better with men on base than me. My runners get thrown out by little girls catching. All this evens things up, but it makes playing the actual games less and less enjoyable. I like the team building part much better than playing the game with these flaws in it.
I realize I have no facts to back this up, just my frustrated and surely slanted perceptions, but if i get the time I'll work on some numbers.
