I was in the 8th inning of a game with a runner on second and 2 out down 4-0.

My batter, Eli Marrero hit a foul ball on the first pitch and injured himself running to first. The play-by-play stated that he would have to be replaced, and that the new batter would have a 0-1 count on him.

Instead of allowing me to substitute a player for the injured Marrero and then letting the substitute continue his at bat, the inning just ended with only 2 out.

Bizarre...

If I wasn't 40 games out of first, I might have asked for a replay ;)
