This week has been especially frustrating. It doesn't seem to matter whether or not I have an outstanding closer, LH/RH matchup advantages, or what I can count on losing the game late. It could be some spare getting a key hit or the other team's star player getting a clutch dinger.
Their really seems to be a home-field disadvantage.

Furthermore, I understand that if the sim played strictly according to the statistics then why play the games. However, if the games are going to be run this way, why even use statistics?
