I normally don't complain, BUT...
This sort of occurence is just flat out ridiculous!! I played a game where a guy let his team get in such disarray that Dave Veres was the ONLY pitcher he had available to start or pitch AT ALL in a game, which means he would have to start AND finish the game. He had 2 BFA left when the game started and pitched 9 innings. He did give up ONLY 6 runs, 5 of them earned. Meanwhile, the game bailed him out by giving 3 errors on my team and Andy Pettitte gave up 8 runs, only 3 earned.
Usually, my teams pay dearly if I let them get out of hand. I guess that doesn't apply in all cases. That is RIDICULOUS!!! Is it just me or do teams in disarray tend to get bailed out a little too much in this game? Why ask for INN players to fill out your roster if you can get a closer to pitch complete games and be good enough to win?
