Home field advantage - 34 games better at home
with 8 teams. With 100 games played this works
out to each team being about 4 games better at home. Considering that I rest players at home while fielding my best team on the road, sound about right.

I will agree that the first inning seems to be the visiting teams best inning, but then again that is the only inning that the team hits in the order a manager wants.

Like all sports, teams have winning and losing streaks and sometimes no matter what move you make, you will lose.
