In view of the events of the last week, I think we should error on the side of giving people another week.
As a practical matter, if you have been in a league very long you know who you can and can't get to deal and who is willing to do an equitable deal versus who is unreasonable.
Except for relative newcomers, I don't think it will make much difference.
