I'd ignore PB value. I win league championships every year while my overall PB value is lower then the competition.

The problem with PB is as follows:

Player 1 & 2 both play same position and have a
.300 ave .500 slg .400 oba, while Player 1
has twice the atbats. You would think Player 1 would have twice the PB value but actually he has 3 times the PB value. Part time players and lower inning players take big hits in PB.
