The idea is to win.

It is up to the COMMISH to set up a level playing field that doesn't allow managers to do the tricks that give them a leg up.

If you have a guy who only played 1 inning at C, but performs great there so you use him there for 400 innings, isn't that good management? It is up to the game to restrict usages by making him perform poorly if he is overused - not the manager to tie one arm behind his back and not go all out to win.

I want my opponent to do all he can to win.

I want the COMMISH to see to it that he is penalized for things like putting the same pitcher as his starter all 5 games so that I can't set up appropriate batter/pitcher matchups.


Don't blame the manager for competing.
