I recently gave up several teams in traditional leagues to switch my focus to real time, which I have come to enjoy more.
I feel guilty when I go back and look at my "orphans" because I put a lot of time into each of them.
The bottom line is that there is only so much time and money to invest in a hobby, even though it is a great hobby.
Incidentally, I kept my worst team because I figured it would stay unclaimed forever if I abandoned it. It's a project, and those can be fun, too!
