When the game crashes, it's due to a technical problem with the actual software (memory leak usually).

The "blip" that you experienced is one of those random robot brain farts that we've all experienced. Since the game was played and submitted successfully and there was no "crash" per say, then I can't see the justification for a reset of an already played game. Sure, it's the last game of the season and a win would have tied the division up, but what about the guy that loses by one game at the end of the season who had the same thing happen to him in the beginning or middle of the season when he didn't bother to mention it because it didn't have a huge impact at the time.

No, we probably won't see a robot or game upgrade in the near future :-(
